A witch in training, the renowned sorceresses’ only apprentice.

Struggling to find her voice in the world and desperate to prove herself worthy. She is faced with a fantastical and frightening world.

Between foraging and fighting, how will our young mage fair when she’s left to her own devices ?

Environment and Asset Designs exploring the design for the Sorcerers Laboratory and home, initial ideas for a magical forest area of the world.

Character and Sprite turnaround of our leading witch, and her stern magical mentor.

Idea’s for melee weapons and attacks, spells and their level scaling as well as a rough idea of the kind of items you would forage to concoct powerful potions and elixirs!

I also made a 3D model just to see her proportions, to see if the design could work in 3D.

Some initial ideas for the types of enemies you will come across, A long forgotten battlefield full of living armour, soldiers, knights and lords. A haunting ghostly figure based on Mari Lwyd, a traditional welsh folktale.

A few of my first few and very rough sketches figuring out what direction I would like to take this game, will it be more of a farm sim or a dungeon crawler, ideas on how to gather and document the ecology of this magical world.
